F-1

The F1 visa is a non-immigrant student visa issued by the United States for individuals who wish to pursue academic studies or language training programs at a U.S. educational institution. It is the most common visa category for international students studying in the United States.

F-2

The F2 visa is a non-immigrant visa category issued by the United States for dependents of F1 visa holders. It allows the spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 to accompany or join the F1 visa holder in the United States.
